Contact dermatitis (eczema)

There are two types of this inflammatory condition.  Allergic dermatitis, which can affect areas anywhere on the body and is usually caused by an allergic reaction to either internal or external products.  Irritant dermatitis can be seen (and felt) only at the area of contact and is usually caused by allergic reactions to an external product.  This condition may worsen if not treated and the environmental allergen removed.
