This condition is normally seen around the hair line and/or an overly oily scalp. It has a reddish/yellow pimple-like feature, which can be extremely itchy and scaly. Another name for this condition, as seen in infants, is 'cradle cap'. It can also be seen in those going through puberty, and in rare occasions, adults. The cause of this condition is overactive sebaceous glands (oil glands) leading to yeast infections if not treated.
