Psoriasis

This is a common scalp condition characterized by red blotches and silvery white scaly areas. This can be caused by stress, problems with the autoimmune system, dietary issues, certain viral/bacterial infections, and/or intolerance to certain hair and skin products.  May be inflamed by scratching and could spread to other areas if not treated.
